Overview

The Custody Cash Transactions API is designed to offer an effective solution for developers to access and integrate recent cash transaction activity across individual cash accounts. It provides more comprehensive data for both End of Day and Intraday periods, allowing applications to monitor cash movements. This granular access is designed to support critical functions such as near real-time portfolio tracking, more efficient reconciliation processes, and detailed regulatory reporting.

What will this help me with?

Reconciliation and Operational Efficiency — The API is designed to provide the granular data necessary to automate the matching of internal records with custodial records. Both intraday and end-of-day data can be used to perform continuous reconciliation or daily batch reconciliations.

Optimized Treasury and Liquidity Management — Corporate treasurers and financial institutions can utilize the API to gain a clearer picture of their cash flows across multiple accounts throughout the day. This is designed to enable more accurate short-term cash forecasting, liquidity management, and optimization of cash allocation.

Post-Trade Processing and Settlement Confirmation — The API can be integrated into post-trade systems to confirm the cash leg of securities transactions to ensure that funds have moved as expected to settle trades.

How it works

You are encouraged to use OAuth Token Authentication for this API which requires only client and secret key. The End-of-Day (EOD) API allows retrieval of historical cash transaction data for the past 12 months, while the Intraday API offers a real-time snapshot of transactions throughout the current trading day. All API responses will be paginated to ensure you are able to retrieve all necessary data.

To use the Cash Transactions API, you will:

1

Make the OAuth Token

Use post call and pass the API credentials to get the OAuth token.

2

Get transaction data

Use the Get Transactions endpoint with a generated token and client id, to retrieve the account information. You may define the pagination as required using skip and take parameters.
